About Kamidana

Indeed. It's named after small household Shinto shrines made to enshrine Kami (a Deity). I'm a follower of Shinto, so I found it appropriate to name this site this way.

Well, it depends. I post about whatever I like, but as you saw in the navigation bar, it most likely will have to do with music, Shinto or motorcycles. There are and will be random posts in the future, that's for sure as well.

>What's up with this website styling?
I really like the slightly old-ish aesthetic -- the serif, simple themes, etc. If I could, I would even remove the anti aliasing -- of some sites like 2chan, 4chan, and so on. I don't really take part in those sites, except the occasional visit, but I do enjoy their look. This is precisely why I'm not creating this site with React, Next.js, etc., but instead just with HTML and CSS, as well as Jekyll (though at the end of the day it doesn't matter as much, since you only see the static site).

I can say I'm just another Internet traveller and this site is to document my journey in some way. That's all.
